We are happy to announce the festival schedule for Gaura Purnima on Sunday 12th March at the Dublin Temple.

Gaura PurnimaCome along to celebrate Gaura Purnima, the appearance day of Caitanya Mahaprabhu in our temple. On this day, which is a full-moon day, everyone fasts till moonrise, and people visit the temple to see the Deities of the Lord. Caitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in West Bengal in India in the late fifteen century. He introduced sankirtan, widespread congregational chanting of the Supreme Person's names, as the most effective means by which anyone can achieve spiritual perfection.
