rsz krishna balarama

We have 3 big festivals this august, starting on thursday 18th August at 18.30 with the appearance day of Lord Balarama.

rsz krishna balaramaLord Balaram’s appearance day

The auspicious day of the appearance of Lord Balaram is celebrated all over the world on Thursday 18th August 2016.

The program will start at 18.30 at the Temple and will consist of a talk about Lord Balarama and kirtan followed by some Prasadam.

Known as the elder brother of Lord Krishna, Lord Balaram is worshipped by devotees. Lord Balarama is the second body of Lord Krishna, the fountainhead of all incarnations. They are both one and the same identity but differ only in one form which is Lord Balarama is the first bodily expansion of Lord Krishna and He assists in Lord Krishna’s transcendental pastimes. He is the source of the entire spiritual world and is the adi-guru, the original spiritual master.

Lord Balarama exemplifies the service attitude to Lord Krishna. Whether it is the creation of the material worlds, maintaining the spiritual world or as His personal paraphernalia, Lord Balaram’s mission is to render service to Lord Krishna.

We look forward to see everyone on this special occasion on Thursday.
